Framer: Trademark guidelines

·Framer values our community of designers, developers, and creators who build amazing things with our platform. This Trademark Usage Policy provides guidelines for using the Framer name, logos, and other brand assets. Our goal is to protect the Framer brand while enabling our community to reference Framer appropriately.

·The Framer marks

·The Framer Marks include the Framer name, the Framer logo, the Framer wordmark, the Framer app icon, and any other trademarks, logos, graphics, designs, or trade dress that identify Framer as the source of a product or service. These marks are owned by Framer and protected by trademark law.

·How to use our brand

·When using the Framer Marks, please follow these principles:

• ·Be truthful and accurate. Only use Framer Marks in ways that are honest and not misleading
• ·Your brand comes first. Your own branding should always be more prominent than the Framer Marks
• ·No implied affiliation. Do not suggest sponsorship, endorsement, or official partnership with Framer unless you have a written agreement
• ·Use Framer as an adjective. Always use Framer as an adjective (e.g., Framer templates, the Framer platform), never as a noun or verb

·Please don't do this

·You may not use the Framer Marks in the following ways without explicit written permission from Framer:

·Names & domains

• ·Don't register any domain name containing Framer (e.g., framerexperts.com, framertemplates.io)
• ·Don't use Framer in your company name, product name, or service name
• ·Don't use Framer in your social media handles or usernames
• ·Don't combine Framer with your own brand name (e.g., FramerPro, Framer+)
• ·Don't create logos that incorporate, imitate, or are confusingly similar to the Framer logo
• ·Don't use outdated versions of the Framer logo or branding

·Suggesting affiliation

• ·Don't use phrases that suggest official partnership, such as: Framer Partner Framer Expert Framer Certified Official Framer [anything]
• ·Powered by Framer (as a primary brand element)
• ·Don't suggest that your product, service, or content is made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Framer
• ·Don't use the Framer logo as your primary branding or in a way that implies your product is a Framer product

·Editing our logo

• ·Don't modify, distort, or alter the Framer logo in any way
• ·Don't change the colors of the Framer logo
• ·Don't add effects, outlines, or shadows to the logo Don't rotate, skew, or stretch the logo
• ·Don't combine the logo with other graphics or text
• ·Don't use the logo on merchandise without permission

·You can do this

·You may use the Framer Marks in the following ways, provided you comply with this Policy and our Brand Guidelines:

·Referential Use

·You may use the word "Framer" to truthfully describe your relationship with the Framer platform: Correct | Incorrect

·Naming your product

·If you create plugins, components, or templates for the Framer platform: Correct | Incorrect SuperForms for Framer | Framer Forms

·"Framer" should describe what your product works with, not be part of your product's name. Your product name should come first and be more prominent.

·Your sites & services

·If you operate a website, course, community, or service related to Framer: Correct | Incorrect

·Required disclaimer for third-party sites: if your website, service, or content relates to Framer, include a clear disclaimer such as:

·"This [website/service/content] is independent of Framer and is not authorized by, endorsed by, sponsored by, affiliated with, or otherwise approved by Framer B.V."

·Teaching and tutorials

·You may use the Framer Marks in educational content, tutorials, reviews, and commentary, provided you:

• ·Use Framer Marks only to refer to Framer products accurately
• ·Do not imply that your educational content is official or endorsed by Framer Include a disclaimer when appropriate

·Linking to Framer

·You may use the Framer logo to link to official Framer pages (framer.com), provided you follow our Brand Guidelines for logo usage.

·Ads and marketing

·Keyword advertizing

• ·Do not use Framer as a keyword in AdWords, AdSense, or similar advertizing platforms for keyword targeting
• ·Do not bid on Framer-related trademarks for search advertizing

·Ad copy

·You may reference Framer in advertizing copy if it accurately describes your services and clearly indicates you are not Framer: Correct | Incorrect

·Demonstrations and presentations

·When presenting Framer products in webinars, demos, or marketing materials, include this disclaimer:

·"This presentation is independent of Framer and is not authorized by, endorsed by, sponsored by, affiliated with, or otherwise approved by Framer B.V."

·Official programs

·Framer has official community programs including:

• ·Framer Experts - Vetted professionals listed in our official directory
• ·Framer Creators - Official affiliate program participants
• ·Framer Ambassadors - Official educational program members

·Only participants in these programs, with active agreements, may use associated terminology. If you're interested in joining an official program, visit framer.com/creators or framer.com/expert/apply.

·If your use of the Framer Marks violates this Policy, our Terms of Service, or any other applicable agreement, Framer may take appropriate action, including requesting removal of infringing content or terminating your access to Framer services.
